This is an amazing campground. Our family loves that the campground attendants and volunteers are so friendly and work so hard at keeping the campground family oriented and alcohol free. If you are looking for a great place to camp with your kids we recommend it. We drive an hour and half to get there several times each summer and have always had a great time.
Our first time there. Loved it and will be back. Being new to the area, staff very helpful for things to do and very friendly. Beautiful lake views. Very quiet and peaceful.
Don't go here if you have big dogs. If they bark a couple times, they'll threaten to "have them removed." They will also suggest a shock collar for your pet. Yet they will let the little dogs bark all day long and say nothing.
We had a great time and loved the marina. Great place to camp with family to escape. Small towns all around that have some sites to see.
